Taylor Hawkins, a drummer from US rock group Fu Fighters, has died at the age of 50, the band has confirmed the news.
The band said in a statement on social media that they were “devastated by the tragic and untimely loss.”
How Taylor Hawkins died ?
The cause of death is unknown
He may die of a heart attack.
Excessive drinking can lead to his death. There may be another reason also. In fact, we do not know the exact reason. After a while, the real truth will come out.
Hawkins has played with Fu Fighters for more than two decades, joining them shortly after they released their 1997 album The Color and the Shape.
The band is currently touring South America.
“His musical spirit and contagious smile will live on with us forever,” Fu Fighters wrote.
“Our hearts go out to his wife, children and family and we urge you to consider their privacy with the utmost respect during this unimaginably difficult time.”
Foo Fighters was formed in 1994 by Dave Grohl after his previous band Nirvana broke up following the suicide of lead singer Kurt Cobain.
When Grohl played the drums for Nirvana, he took the lead vocals and guitar in Fu Fighters, and so Hawkins had the hard work of drumming on a team founded by one of Rock’s most famous drummers.
